How Our Founders Are Gifting
It's Peggy and Willa, stepping away from the wrapping table to chat about our personal gifting for this holiday.
Read on to hear who is on our lists, our go-to gifts, wrapping styles, and more!
Whether you've already tackled your gifting or you're a last minute shopper-- we hope to inspire you.
Who are you gifting this year?
Peggy: My husband, son, and a few girlfriends. The Poppy Pack was a convenient way to tackle the variety of my list!
Willa: My family's Secret Santa takes a bit of pressure off! I'm still shopping for girlfriends-- I should put Poppy in a Pinch to the test for my last minute gifts!
What are your go-to shopping strategies?
Peggy: I love mixing playful and practical by channeling the recipient's interests. Like Edie Parker Confetti Coasters for the consummate hostess!
Willa: I agree! A luxe take on an everyday item-- cashmere socks or supple cotton robe (monogrammed, of course!) can be a coveted essential.
What are some of the fun gifts your loved ones are getting this year?
Peggy: My practical husband is getting a wardrobe update-- this LL Bean x Todd Snyder jacket is a classic with a touch of trend to mix with his jeans and button down uniform.
Fascinated with mechanics, my almost two-year-old son will be getting a personalized tool kit from Not Another Bill. It's playful and makes for stylish storage when not in use!
My girlfriends and I set a gifting theme. This year it's self-care-- everyone is getting Fox Naturals serum and a Hannah for a chic yet safe face covering.
Willa: Everyone on my list has what they need and buys what they want! So I am gifting products I truly love and regularly use.
In the kitchen, I love both the eye-catching look of fun prints and the eco-friendly nature of cloth napkins.
For my girlfriends, the Julia Armory Sets will bring an elevated polish to their tables-- whether for the holiday or everyday use.
For my tech-obsessed Secret Santa, I'm hoping they'll appreciate the convenient sophistication of Courant Accessory Tray as much as I do!
And for my mom, my absolute favorite-- a plush and personalized Weezie Robe.
And as far as tying the bows, do you have favorite wrapping styles?
Peggy: I love a good theme! I typically select a few fun wrapping papers and ribbons for pops of color and coordinating variety under the tree. This year, it's Poppy Gifting's Juniper Paper for everyone!
Willa: This year I am all about chartreuse! It's a warm and subtle nod to the holiday spirit. I've stocked up on satin ribbon that pairs perfectly with our Poppy Gifting Wrapping Paper. I just love the combo of both patterns under the tree.
