What does it mean to you to be a female founded business owner & what has been your secret to success?
I have had amazing support from the start, from women and men alike. I have a wonderful husband who has encouraged me and given me the freedom & flexibility to build a successful business out of a passion I have always enjoyed.
I truly think the recipe to success is treating others the way you desire to be treated - we go above and beyond for our clients and they know we are working hard to make their experiences exceptional.
What do you find most beneficial when it comes to retaining clients and nurturing those relationships?
Years ago, I read a book by John Rulin "Giftology" and it struck a chord. I have always loved gifting and when I started building my business, I knew I wanted to "gift" something for each trip. The "gift boxes" have evolved over the past few years and I wanted to do something additional for the most loyal clients. While my clients do not expect anything, I know the extra touch is meaningful. As a loyal consumer to my favorite small businesses, I have first-hand experience of going above and beyond for your faithful clients, and the impact this has on referrals and repeat business.
Is there a particular client story or sentiment that drives your everyday work?
Goodness, this would be hard to narrow down as I have so many stories - but for me, I get to do what I love every day! I thrive on making people happy, seeing the pictures from amazing experiences and hearing stories of the core memories people are making with loved ones.
